Why We Started CareTags
Traditional microchips aren't always the safety net pet owners think they are. There are hundreds of separate microchip databases worldwide, many regional or provider-specific, and if contact information isn't updated after a move or an adoption, a scanned chip can lead nowhere. We wanted something that worked the moment someone found your pet — no database lookup, no waiting on hold, no guessing.
So we built CareTags: a digital pet ID that doubles as a wallet for your pet's whole life — vaccine records, vet appointments, medication schedules, and travel documents — all in one place, accessible in seconds by you or by whoever finds your pet.
